Mr. Himanshu Kumar has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and passion for nature and environmental conservation. From a young age, Himanshu Kumar felt a deep connection to the natural world. Growing up in Jamshedpur, he spent countless hours exploring the forests and fields surrounding his hometown, cultivating a profound appreciation for the rich biodiversity of Jharkhand. Driven by his passion, Mr. Himanshu Kumar embarked on a journey dedicated to the preservation of nature. He established a nursery, nurturing saplings and transforming barren land into verdant havens. Recognizing the crucial role of indigenous communities in environmental stewardship, he founded the Aadivasi Welfare Foundation. This organization spearheads biodiversity conservation projects, working hand-in-hand with tribal communities to safeguard their traditional ecological knowledge and protect the natural heritage of Tribal dominated states of India.
Mr. Himanshu’s unwavering commitment to conservation is evident in his dedication to sustainable practices, community outreach, and education. He believes in empowering local communities to become active participants in environmental protection, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for the land they inhabit. His efforts have led to the successful implementation of several initiatives, including afforestation programs, wildlife protection measures, and awareness campaigns that promote eco-friendly living.
